Summary vs. Reflection

Summary:
A summary is something that tells what happened but in a shorter version.

Relfection:
A reflection is something that tells how you feel about a certain topic.

The people affected by the girl's bad decision were all the people in the car accident and the family of the people in the accident. The little girl was crying because she thought her parents were sleeping and they wouldn't wake up. She kept telling them to wake up but she didn't know that they were dead. Her life is now changed because now she doesn't have a mom, a dad, or a little brother (or sister). The teen that survived was crying because she killed her friends. Her life was affected because now she will live with the death of people she knew and other people in her mind. She will have to live her life with the regret. The main message of the video was that nobody should text while driving because you will not be the only affected one in the situation. Others will be affected by your bad decisions.

Claudia, I agree with you completely. No one knows what they have until finally they lose it. It's sad that someone has to lose something to realize that that thing they lost is important.

Genesis, I think you're right. We all have a lot to value eventhough we don't realize it. Some kids don't have their parent and they would give anything to have them, and here we are fighting with our parents, not appreciating them.

This video was very interesting. It is about how you're supposed to value time because you never know what will happen next. People haven't realized how important it is to value all the time we have. Even a millisecond is important although you may not realize it. Only when people have a limited time is when they appreciate the time they have.

#2 Which Loved Best

This is a very interesting poem. All kids say they love her but only one of them really shows it. Instead of helping her they make her job harder. The mother works while the kids play. They don't show a sign of loving her instead they just say they love her. This poem is about a mother's children. Kids that say they love their mom but only one of her kids actually show they love her. They don't help her with the chores she has to do. This poem means that the things you do can sometimes show the opposite of what you say.

From the video I learned that kids will mimick everything their parents do. Kids will do what their parents do because they think that if their parents can do it, then so can they.
I think the quote is very good and true. If we can't do everything but there are things we can do, then why not do them? If people didn't do what others can't do them there wouldn't be many things out there for us.
